Pinterest tips for Boutique Owners:
If you are a boutique owner and NOT on Pinterest yet, you need to be. Your posts can live there for YEARS and still be getting engagement. So here’s my basics for getting started with Pinterest as a Boutique Owner:
-
Create a Pinterest business account: This will give you access to analytics and other business features that are not available on a personal account.
-
Optimize your profile: Use your boutique name and description in your profile and include a link to your website.
-
Create boards: Organize your products into boards that are easy to navigate and visually appealing. Use relevant keywords in your board names and descriptions. PINTEREST IS ALLL ABOUT SEO — Yes, your pins can even help you be visible in google! (again, important to get your bootay on Pinterest)
-
Use high-quality images: Pinterest is a highly visual platform, so use high-quality images that showcase your products.
-
Include descriptions: Add detailed descriptions to your pins to give customers more information about your products. (Again this is where SEO comes in — if you need help writing these sss has a description tool, just ask me in the comments for more info)
-
Use hashtags: Use relevant hashtags to make your content more discoverable, but don’t overdo it! 1-3 is plenty!
-
Promote your boards: Share your Pinterest boards on your other social media platforms and encourage your customers to follow you on Pinterest.
-
Collaborate with other brands: Collaborate with other brands to create joint boards or group boards to reach a wider audience. I have a current one labeled TOP BOUTIQUES and we have tons of you sharing inside it right now!
-
Try some Ads: Pinterest is GREAT about their Ads! You can actually get on the phone and talk with a LIVE PERSON! Let them help you, they want you to succeed, because it means more money for them with ads lol!
-
Monitor your analytics: Use Pinterest analytics to track your performance and optimize your content for better results.
