Why should people follow you? What do you Instagram About?
This is a tough one! My main goal is to share my life and hopefully inspire my followers. There's nothing more flattering than when someone sees my outfits and shares a pic of them in it, or says they are excited to experience a hotel I've stayed at and posted about! My true hope is that people want to see what I'm up to and are inspired to continue following.
How and When did you get started?
I started in September 2017, and just went full force from day one. I absolutely love this community, and did an entire blog post on how I got started recently. You can check it out on AlwaysMeliss.com.
Where do you hope to be a year from now? What are some of your goals?
Hopefully still growing strong! My goals are to have fun, be inspiring, meet amazing new people, and work with some incredible brands.
What types of collaborations do you typically do and how can someone who wants to connect, contact you?
With any collaboration, it's very important to me that the brand fits my lifestyle. Whether it's clothing, beauty, or travel, if I wouldn't buy it or spend money on it, I won't work with the brand. What is some advice you would give for someone who is just starting?
Just do it! Don't be scared, don't compare yourself to others, be you and be real.
How did you grow your Instagram account? Give us one tip that has helped you!
I just keep learning every single day! I always look at performance of a photo and what my followers respond well to, and learn from it. I think that's my biggest tip! :) Don't be complacent!
What are some of your favorite apps you use to spruce up your Instagram Account? (or) Your favorite apps to connect with other business or bloggers.
Hmm... this is a tough one! I don't use too many apps for connecting with other bloggers, but Unfold is awesome! You can make really cute collages with it. I love using their templates for stories.
What are some of your Favorite Accounts to follow?
I absolutely LOVE Olivia Rink, CMCoving, MumuandMacaroons, MegsLegs, among a few! They are real and honestly I just am so inspired by them.
What are some of your favorite hashtags to use on Instagram?
I try to switch them up, but one that I love is #liketoknowit (I can shop it!!)
What is your favorite feature of The InstantBoss Club?
I just love that you all have been so welcoming! I feel included in a community, which is an amazing feeling.
